sudo pacman -Syu

2. Baseline snapshot

sudo timeshift --create --comments "clean install baseline"

6. Know your escape hatch

Bookmark Recovery Environment — F9/failover entry, Timeshift restore, package repair. Reading it BEFORE disaster is a superpower.
